Satisfyingly Muddy

Tyninghame

After all the recent rains, my walk around the salt marsh at Tyninghame was squelchy.
That is a good word. A truly onomatopoeic adjective: mud squelch, mud squelch, mud squelch...
The warming malt while I upload this is much enjoyed.

And last year was more refined in Vienna.

I'd rather a hot chocolate and a good pair of gumboots.
Or better still, dry land.

Excellent captures, but the trip through that sounds sort of... squelchy!
