Spitfire and Picasso

Glasgow

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow.
This is probably the only place in the world where you can find a real WW2 spitfire exhibited in the same space as paintings by Dali, Rembrandt and Picasso.

An interesting contrast and wonderful tribute to the RAF and the Spitfire since it was a work of art in many ways. My dad was a bomber pilot flying out of England during WWII. You can see why this caught my attention. Voted

Glasgow is a very special place, full of surprises and nice people! It pity I did not visit Kelvingrove Gallery while staying in the city... V.
