Ballet Corvus

North Berwick

One month on from Christmas and the days are beginning to get longer.
The reddish bush is sea buckthorn, and the birds love to eat the berries.
This evening the crows were enjoying the last of the light.

And last year it was walk along the east bay.

That's very, very good; at that speed it almost looks like someone just tossed the crows into the sky and you grabbed the image just as they reached the zenith of the throw. Their blackness makes a marked contrast to the reddish orange of the bushes.
