Hills and Heather

Melrose, Scottish Borders

I went for a good 10 mile circular walk in the Scottish Borders today.
Starting and ending in the town of Melrose, I walked up the Eildon Hills which are lovely in their blanket of heather.
Down the other side, and back along the banks of the River Tweed and over the chain bridge.
Then coffee and cake in a café to refuel.
