Old Gravestones

I find weathered, old gravestones are always fascinating. Like mini tablets of history.

Odd! Was doing the same thing myself yesterday in Leuchars Churchyard.

Always a little sad, especially in ours when we know they came from far and wide, perhaps never to see their families back in their home country ever again.
Looks like these are well cared for

They are fascinating, the older the better, standing in rain and shine.

Well framed Bill, they are indeed history of the past but I am afraid so many are just disappearing.. well shot...
