The Red Spade

North Berwick

Someone was very hardy to be out building sandcastles on the beach.
It has remained below zero all day, and the sand is frozen.
Mack enjoyed the sandcastle though.

Very well composed. The asymmetry and the dof gives an excellent composition.Simple but efficient.

A classic beach scene. Hard to imagine it's so cold.

Three great photographs on a theme. I must confess. I have NEVER been on a beach that is that cold. Mack is hardy little fellow. BV

The color is spectacular with that red, a lovely contrast to the soft background.
