Mack has been known to steal a golf ball when we walk across the course. Often to the shouts of "Oy, your dog's got my ball!"
At which point, I walk off, pretending I don't know who's dog he is. When he gets one, he likes to bury it in the sand. Just another challenge for the golfers, I say.
