Mack and I went for a longer walk that usual today, across the wheat fields in East Lothian.
It was very windy and overcast, so mostly grey skies, but enjoyable all the same.
We had the skylarks and yellowhammers keeping us company along the way.
The wind was making waves in the wheat and shaking the trees, but keeping us cool.





Part of the walk was along an old, abandoned railway embankment where we stopped for a rest.
