Corkscrew

It is a while since I used one of these because almost all bottles now come with screwcaps.
At least the wines in the price range I buy do!

There are some good screw top bottles that are Fancy man wines. Lots of cafe and resteraunts use screw tops.

Lovely macro - can't remember the last time I had to use the corkscrew though! :-)

I think that even premium wines come with screw caps these days. I hear that a much higher proportion of bottles turn out to be in good condition that way. Still, with corks gone the element of "ceremony" is lost. Sigh. Lovely sharp rendition of this subject. V

Nice choice that you still need the corkscrew for the precious wines, Cheers Bill! V
