Lake Tanganyika

Lake Tanganyika is one of the Rift Valley series of lakes. It is famous for kapenta, a small herring-like fish that is dried on racks and used for lots of different things.

Hey Joe,thanks for the pictures.I was in Zambia for a few years,from 89 to 92 and lived for a year in the north.I was in Malole,east of Kasama when the Powell's still lived out there.Luke's place looks great,I'd love to get back and have a visit.I tried to spend most weekends at the lake and would stay at Nkupi with Denish.Great memories
