Protea Lodge is about 30 kilometers north of Lusaka and was the location where planning took place for the RAP 2000 coursework in 2000 and the site of the In-Service Training in 2001. It was a very large fenced area with will zebras, giraffees, various kinds of antelopes and one elephant. Though I did not get a picture of it, this elephant did walk into the bar during IST. Instead of ordering a drink however, it just ate the bushes in the decorative planters.
