The Outer Hebrides are the remote jewels of Scotland. Beyond them lies the Atlantic and across generations, Nova Scotia. Incredibly beautiful and spirit-filled to some, stark and unforgiving to others. I stand with the former. Reminds me of the tundra of Alaska except with houses here and there. And there is the Sea, the ever-present Sea royally wed to and interlacing with the Land. Lucky are those few who get to live there.
