While this freezer was not currently operational, getting it into good operating condition would be a huge asset to the fishers and their families in this area. Regardless of you plan to process fish, getting them cool right away is hugely important. This is rarely done currently in South Sudan, but there are enough resources around that could make this happen, but someone has to be trained in maintaining assets like this. This walk-n freezer could be used to freeze fish before moving to long term freezer storage and to make ice for fishers to put on their fish immediately upon coming out of the water.
