The Alaska Returned Peace Corps Volunteer group time put together an outhouse for the 2010 Fur Rendezvous Outhouse Race in Anchorage, Alaska. Here are pictures of the time trials including a couple of other race teams. Many RPCVs used pit latrines in their countries of service and so made the seat as low as possible so that you could either sit or squat. Bats lived in my pit latrine (icimbusu) in Zambia which made it exciting to use at dawn or dusk.
