The Munch-museet and the Botanical Gardens are just a few hundred metres from one another. There is a café, gift shop, and lockers at the museum – you can not take bags into the gallery. Flash is not allowed and I didn't ask about tripods or monopods, because i hadn't taken one.

The lighting in the museum galleries is very poor – my excuse for some of the bad shots. Sometimes there was only one light directly over the painting, sometimes when there were two, they were of different colour temperatures. Almost all of the works, including the oils on canvas, were under glass. The vignetting on the images is due to the poor lighting and is not a camera or lens problem.

I took few shots at the botanical gardens because I meant to get back to it on another occasion. I never had the time to get back there.
