Six-leaved Clover

Staunton, Virginia

A six-petalled Deptford Pink (Dianthus armeria) is probably more unusual than a four-leaved clover. I may have had other shots of this flower, but was rapidly running out of disk space and deleted all but this one. I went back to the same patch the for several days, but all the pinks had the usual five petals. (122_2218pinkWeb)
