Rehab of Failed Scarf Joint

Starboard spray rail guard opened up at the scarf joint. Probably due to poor technique in gluing. Should have glued the guard on in pieces, with ample fasteners at the joint.
Cleaned out and ready to glue. Gap is 1/4 inch wide, tapering to 1/16 inch at root.
