Lunar Eclispe 2007 Aug 28 Sydney

A Total Lunar eclipse occured on the 28th Aug in Sydney.
All in all the event from sunset to total eclipse and back took just 5 hours.
We have shots of the moon and sunset 2 days prior (26th) to the eclipse,
then the sunset and moon rise on the 28th and finally the total eclispe itself.
Note it is extremly hard to get sharp photos. The Exposures are around 2sec
and the moon moves about 10 pixels during this time. You can see this
in the star trails in some of the images. I used a tripod, mirror lockup and
self timer to avoid any camera shake. The long exposure of the road
scene shows no shake. Higher res. originals are available if you are interested.
Please enjoy, comments very welcome and feel free to link to this site.
