I did not know the man this memorial marks in passing. The man passed away just over 1 year ago.
The memorial is placed in a non obvious location behind a large concrete break wall.
It faces the at times unforgiving and brutal sea, yet it also faces beauty and wonder.
It is fitting this man is commemorated here.
