Matryoshka Dolls - See the worlds still here

With the end of the World about to happen, according to the Mayan calendar,
it got me thinking as to the complex connectedness of the fabric of our world, nature and society.
These Russian Dolls demonstrate the continuum that we live in. You open one up and find another....and another and another.
Life appears to be just an endless set of cycles just like the cycles of the year, seasons, tides and birth - life - death.
The Mayan Calendar may have ended but another will commence....
P.S. My Aunty had a set of these dolls (at least 10 nested ones) and as a child I loved playing with them.

For more info on these Matryoshka Dolls (Russian or Babushka dolls) see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matryoshka_doll and
