I made this wallpaper from an image of Earth and the moon, acquired on October 3, 2007, by the HiRISE camera on NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. The original was an 800 x 800 pixel image of the planets on a black background. I layered it on a larger background, added the stars and a slight glow from the sun, and hopefully made an interesting wallpaper out of it.
