Our first acclimatising to Japanese living began in Tokyo, sfter arrival at Narita Airport, acquiring our Japan Rail passes and eventually boarding the super Narita Express for central Tokyo and a second train a few stops to Ibekukuro, the area in which we were booked into Kimi Ryokan. Two days were spent in interesting areas of Tokyo - Asakusa and Kamakura - our final day spent in Central Tokyo, exploring the Ginza, the surrounds of the Imperial Palace and many of the impressive avenues and
