A short but long overdue visit to see my brother and his wife. Their spacious and luxurious apartment had magnificent views overlooking the waters of Rushcutters Bay. We enjoyed glorious Autumn weather, the sun sparkled on the waters of the entire Sydney Harbour as we relaxed or walked or drove to viewpoints so well known and loved. The quieter, fashionable residential north shore areas were a contrast to the quintessential Sydney at Circular Quay with throngs of tourists admiring the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House, but everywhere, boats of all kinds bobbed in marinas, sped across the water or set sail on this sunny weekend.

Back again in 2019 for my brother's birthday and to repeat the walks and sights with Philip this time.

Another visit to this exciting city in 2023, a home exchange. We were in an apartment in Wolloomooloo, able to re-explore favourite sights and spend time , again, with my brother after 3 years of COVID lock-downs and risks of flying. This time we travelled by train and enjoyed different scenery.
