“Queenscliff is a picturesque historic seaside village on Victoria’s Bellarine peninsula, famous for its 19th Century Victorian architecture, maritime heritage, and car ferry connecting the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas. It balances refined coastal relaxation with a rich military and shipping history.“ -Tourism Victoria
One night away in this town on the Bellerine Peninsula, which, with Point Lonsdale and their lighthouses, guard the western entrance to Port Philip Bay, across from Point Nepean and the eastern entrance. It is a direct drive from Melbourne but there is now a new and regular ferry service taking cars and foot passengers across from one side to the other in 40 minutes. We drove down to Queenscliff and returned to Melbourne via the SeaRoad ferry.
