St Mary's by the Sea. Appealing small wooden church, originally built 1880, destroyed by a cyclone and rebuilt, 1911.
Now used only for weddings, christenings and special celebrations. There are some stained glass windows, but others in matching shape, are clear galss with the tropical trees and flowers seen from inside. At the very simple small altar there is a clear window showing a beautiful view of the sea and distant mountains in varying shades of blue.
