Yorkey's Knob is just 10 minutes north of Cairns and has a Boating Club and marina with a safe harbour. The boat pictured is named "Last Mango", which I liked. We were guided into the various beaches off the Captain Cook Highway from Cairns to Port Douglas, by fellow pbase contributor, Yvonne, who has been coming to this part of Far North Queensland for many years.
