Lübeck, Hospital of the Holy Spirit 1260

The Heiligen Geist Hospital near St Jacob's Church is the oldest hospital in Germany, caring for the elderly and ill since the 13th C. There are tiny rooms at the back where pensioners lived until 1970 and this hospital still oversees aged care in Lubeck. It has a superb interior.
