Grevillea Robusta (Silky Oak), Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne

This very tall tree, the largest of the Grevillea family, is spectacular when in full bloom. It is native to SE Australia but I was astounded to read on an official website that it is considered a weed in parts of NSW and Victoria.
This photograph was taken in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne.

Color and light are excellent, and a most impressive tree. V.
