Another winter exhibition at this outstanding regional Art Gallery; "Elvis:Direct from Graceland"

"One of the most iconic public figures of the 20th century, Elvis’s influence on music, design, art, and pop culture was profound."

The exhibition consisted of many rooms of large photos, printed information and the story of his life and careeron the walls, huge videos of Elvis performing at different stages of his life, costumes and artifacts, his impressive motor bike and the wedding clothes of him and Priscilla.

We stayed for 2 nights at Antoinette's B&B, a charming old world large late Victorian home and enjoyed our favourite areas around the gallery and beyond.

Bendigo became eastern Australia's largest 19th century gold-mining economy, and the wealth generated during this period is reflected today in the city's Victorian architectural heritage.
