for this series, I used a very special, experimental technique: "freelensing"
you shoot with a detached lens, which creates quite odd effects, sort of "lensbaby"

Very cool effect with this technique. The drawback is the introduction of dust and possibly other debris into the mirror box and sensor.

I peeked at the link.. do it in a dust free environment .. doesn't exist where I live :) I've never heard of this so learning something new. very close macro there!

I have read about this technique, not sure I want to risk dust on my sensor though :)
