The Monument to the fallen soldiers of the First World War was inaugurated in 1927 in Piazza Goffredo Mameli. Every day at 18:00 this monument commemorates the Fallen of all wars with 21 tolling of the bell, one for each letter of the Italian alphabet. During the tolls the traffic stops in sign of respect.
