It is the only anodized latchless piece ever produced. The knife was made in 1990, and titanium was a new and very expensive material then.

This is the exact knife that Vance Collver saw that led him to design the BM42, blue anodizing and all. So this custom served as the the inspiration for the venerable BM 42. This knife is also the first custom ever made with hex pivots. The blade is signed by the master himself, making this Bali-Song the great Holy Grail of balis in my humble opinion.
