Convincing fake BM 4X knives are showing up on the market. They cost about $45 from Chinese sellers. They come in a fake box that BM has never used. Handles are stainless steel rather than Ti and the fakes have thinner handles. The Benchmade USA and steel type stamps are off from the look of the original stamps. The blade swedge on the 43's is off form the originals. The underside of the latch is flat on the counterfeits vs rounded on the originals.
