Bodie Ghost Town

Bodie is an original mining town from the 1800's. Once a bustling, wild and bawdy town of too many bars and houses of ill-repute, what's left standing today is in a state of 'arrested decay'. Since 1962 it has been maintained by the California State Parks System.
Although it's down a bumpy, dusty 13-mile road off Highway 395, north of Mono Lake, it is heavily visited. It is especially popular with photographers and increasingly popular with European visitors.

Interesting place. Like your pics of interiors. I was there a few weeks ago. Took some pictures through windows which I didn't expect to turn out but was delightfully surprised.
