The only angle on this nest was from 100 yards away because the nest was so far up the tree - there are two more young hawks behind the clump of leaves. It must be a real chore catching rabbits for four hungry hawks - I've never seen that many in one nest before. Tried out my "Better Beamer" flash extender to see if I could throw just a little light up there. As dark as it was in the over-cast sky, I think it just made the image acceptable. Mom & Dad were circling the field behind me as I took this.
