Brian.........
Your images transport people to new places...poetic places! It gives them a chance to be outside their enviornment...grow!! The viewers translation is just as important as the artist's translation. If you have given joy to a viewer.....or made the viewer more aware of his/her surroundings then you can't take away the pleasure that he/she experiences!!
As photographers/artists we should perform our task of creating & then step back & let the artwork speak. Your images bring tears to my eyes & take me places that I am thrilled to go......I THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL WORK!!!

Dear Linda
Sometimes i need courage to come back to my PBase galleries. People said my photos were bright and inspirational, but i'm not honest to myself or to what i caught in my photos, i always put hopes and positive attitude through my eyes into real world and this would mislead people or myself. i love those photos because their beauties are beyond truth, but feel sad because those feelings were sometimes illusions, only the gallery "mylifestyle" tells the truth.
This photo, your photo, makes me back to memories in each journeies i sat on a chair in some cheap hotel, i used to sat down there and face to ouside but eyes closed reviewing my past and future. Eyes closed, there were hopes and dreams.
I think, most of my photos were taken with my eyes closed.
Warm regards
Brian

This makes me long to sit in the chair and look out at the canal. It's melancholic and romantic. Lovely!
