The whole gallery in black & white is beautiful and has a lot of character..
I have a preference for this image, the grain, the misty atmosphere, the soft luminosity, the angle, the mystery, have a special appeal to me.

Wanna walk alone and along the damp street, love the light shining in the dark, with not a glance into the windows, for I'm afread my heart feel no warmth when my eyes full of bright light. Brian

Paris is the city of light, and you gently use that light as the subject of this picture. It illuminates the street, as well as the buildings and windows that overlook it. I love the way the single street light almost vaporizes before us, bathing the vines that festoon the building's facade in a soft glow. You have created a timeless image of the city that gave us Photography 165 years ago.
