It's hard to believe this isn't a painting. It is so evocative of a glazed oil painting from.....say Terbruggen's gallery. The light and depth of tonality is masterful. The composition fabulous...drawing my eye up, down, across, and around, and around and around, then through it again. This is one to be hung in a very prominent place. Thanks for sharing your enormous talent.
BZ -- I prefer this photograph to its sister image that follows because it is so much simpler, free of distractions and cleanly framed within a frame by the arch of light that surrounds the dress and envelops it from below. Everything works in this image to make the point -- a solitary dress standing alone in the middle of an elegant shop. Even the lamp in the background echoes its rigid posture. Who will wear this beautiful dress, and when? This is one of those remarkable photographs of yours that asks questions and demands answers from the viewer.
