When I stepped into Gentry, I was still enraptured by Mahler, the concert given by Barenboim and Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Mahler Sym. No. 5, miexed with overwhelming power and breathtaking beauty, made little room for me to enjoy in the Piano Bar.

Light was dim, voice sandy, style pretentious.

For a moment, I realized the weakness of words in front of music. Mahler's symphony reached directly into one's hearty without a single word, while singers try to betray lyrics by his own manner. Afterall, music begins where word ends.
