Thank you for your compliments. I prefer the Epson flatbed scanner. The Nikon Coolscan is time consuming, and I don't think the images are as sharp as those produced with the Epson. Take a look at the medium format images in my galleries (shot with a Pentax 67). Those were scanned with the Epson. Of course, if you want a scan that is for printing in gallery quality format, I would suggest a professional lab that has access to a virtual drum scanner. Those are best professional grade scanners around. Also, I would look at the photo.net blog for slide film users. There are many helpful posts that might also address your questions.
