On the road through Custer State Park we are stopped by donkeys. Some drivers even feed them.

Great gallery of your trip to Wyoming and South Dakota. It has bee 11 years since I have made the trip back to Wyoming. I wa born in Cheyenne, Wyoming and now live near Atlanta, Ga. My folks were from Alabama and I was raised in Ga. Your gallery really makes me yearn to return to the area. I make this trip about every 10 years. Was in Yellowstone in 1988 when the fires were going strong. Some days we were not allowed into Yellowstone thru the south pass because of the fires and one day we were allowed in but could not return thru the south pass and it took us near 7 hours to return to Colter park in the Tetons which normally would have taken about 45 minutes. It seems each time my wife and go to Wyoming something weird happens. The first time in 1975, there was an earthquake of 4.1 near Obsidian Bluff which fell. The fires in 1988, and in 1994, it snowed 8 inches in Yellowstone's south pass area. Just Wild! Again thanks for sharing and bringing back great memories!!!!
