Giant Ichneumon Wasp

This is not a great picture but I'm just thrilled to capture
them hatching this year. I watched the eggs being laid last
year and they have now hatched. I believe these are males
waiting for the females to emerge.

Ann, this is an AWESOME picture! I have only ever seen one of these large wasps....to see so many colourful males all at once and to get such a sharp picture is amazing! v
