I just happened to find the Barred Owl's nest today while
trying to get a few shots of wildflowers today. I saw this tree
and thought it would make a great "nest" for some kind of wildlife...
and there staring back at me was this baby owl.

I did not want to get too close, because I don't believe in interfering
with "mother nature". This nest is in a tree in a neighbor's yard.
I can't wait to watch this baby grow up!
