I can never get shots of these birds because as soon as I go outside they fly away. I had to stand in the snow and cold for over 15 minutes before they would come back to feed on the ground. Was able to catch this one before it flew away! (Of course it doesn't help when my dog decides to join me on the deck while I am shooting pictures - he scares the birds away...ha ha ha!)
