Desert power

No gallery of the desert would be complete without capturing the undulating sand. Behold the beauty of the desert.

Rhythmic repetition draws the eye through the frame and suggests waves of sand which refer to the power of the wind as it leaves its mark on the desert. The texture is here as well. This is an expressive image that says what you want it to say. You can add considerable depth of content to a subject such as this by using a wideangle lens to stress the sand at close range, but also embrace a distant person, camel, building or object to suggest scale.

Love the texture you captured! I tried to do this while traveling in the Gobi Desert but never did get such great definition as yours! Nice!
