Cable car from Jounieh

This must be one of the world's scariest cable car rides. Starting by the beach at the base, through the high rise apartment blocks, over the highway and ending on the mountain where the Lady Harisa stood over the town majestically. Not for the faint hearted!

This is incredible. The buildings and the sea in the background does give this photo a lot of depth - so much that the incline of the cable car seems to be more than 45 degrees from the ground. Scary ride indeed ! :-)=
