Unique architectural structure built into a cleft of rock in Sedona, Arizona USA. The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a Catholic chapel belonging to the Parish of Saint John Vianney and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. Sculptor/painter Marguerite Brunswig Staude originally had the idea for this chapel in 1932. It is her largest artwork and was finished in 1956. It is the only building she ever designed.
