Alstrom Point is north of Lake Powell in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The road to get here is very rough, hard to follow over slickrock patches in places and requires high clearance 4X4-type transportation. It's worth the effort to get there.

The main view is toward sacred Navajo Mountain in the background and Gunsight Butte jutting into Lake Powell in the foreground. Some hoodoos provide good photo subjects for other views.
