Another Step in the Sand

A re visit to the fabulous White Sands during a spectacular Full Moon.
The light on this trip was more vivid and more intense than the soft and pastel light on my last trip.
As before, the moon rises and the sun sets provided an opportunity for amazing images and breathtaking memories.
Stopping on the way back to Phoenix at Laguna Pueblo we photographed the picturesque
white adobe mission perched atop a hill and traveled Route 66 through the Pueblo's meandering back roads.

You were treated to some spectacular light and took excellent advantage of it. Great shots! Really love those moonscapes too. I've gotta get down there one of these days!
