This gallery documents my progress as I've worked through several ideas and variations of the final piece.

The best way to view the progress is to start with the first image and view the images sequentially using the "next" and "previous" links on each image. I try to explain my reasons and thinking for each version.

Tip for viewing: I have made the images larger than normal so that the detail can be viewed more effectively. To view each image so it fits in your browser window, select one of the "small", "medium", or "large" links underneath the image. This will change the size of all images as you move around. To view images as full size, choose the "original" option. (Note however, that the pbase website automatically resizes these images, and some artifacts of the resize will reduce the image quality as seen on your monitor).

Currently, the versions I'm most pleased with are d (yellow tint) and b (alt 3). You can also view these choices in the Best so Far gallery.
